Given everyone’s very busy schedule AND the need to learn how to use social media marketing to grow the business, I have decided to hold group sessions. These group sessions will be for small business owners and professionals who want to learn to use social media to market their business. We will cover: Facebook, Google, Twitter, Blogging, YouTube, LinkedIn, Email marketing, WordPress.
Group Workshop details:
1) For now, I anticipate a small group, the most, 5-6 people. So we will meet at Panera in Warrenton from 8:30-9:30 a.m. beginning on September 13th and commencing every two weeks afterwards (September 27th, October 11th, October 25th, etc.)
2) You don’t have to make a long term commitment. Each workshop will cost $25. You can come once a month, twice a month, skip a month. But you need to be prepared with a laptop or mobile device so you can actually build and grow your social media marketing for your business. You can pay online via PayPal (see below), with a check or cash on the morning of the session.
3) I will select a topic for the session and we will spend 30 minutes on that topic. The remaining 30 minutes will be open to your questions. This will be a very hands-on, “how-to” work group. You will walk away with specific action steps to initiate over the two weeks. Then we can review your results at the next meeting. It’ll be fun and productive!

Love this idea of workshops at Panera in W’ton. Do you ever hold these on the weekend or outside normal business hours? I’d like to attend, but work full-time and write on the side for a local newspaper and some other publications. Great idea to offer this–low commitment and hands-on learning in a pleasant, local environment!

Our first workshop was on Tuesday and it was a big success. The next one is scheduled Sept 27th at 8:30. I am more than willing to do similar sessions on weekends or evenings if a small group can be organized. I also do small group sessions inside companies.
